**Terms and Conditions for Dyslexia Assessment Services**

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of dyslexia assessment services by Dyslexia Assessing ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking an assessment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

**1. Appointment Booking and Cancellation**

1.1 You have the right to cancel and reorganize appointments as needed.

1.2 If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice.

1.3 Failure to give 24 hours notice of cancellation may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

1.4 You have one opportunity to rebook an assessment without losing your deposit.

1.5 The company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances or scheduling conflicts.

1.6 If the company needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, reasonable notice will be provided to you.

1.7 If an appointment is cancelled by the company, you will have the option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a refund of any deposit paid.

1.8 If the company cancels an appointment due to reasons beyond its control (e.g., illness, emergency), it will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your rescheduling needs.

**2. Deposit and Payment**

2.1 A deposit of £100 is due within 24 hours of confirming your booking.

2.2 The remaining balance must be paid at least 24 hours before the assessment appointment.

2.3 Failure to pay the remaining balance within the specified time may result in the cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.

**3. Assessment Report**

3.1 A written report will be sent to you within 3-4 weeks of the assessment taking place. This report will provide detailed findings and recommendations based on the assessment conducted. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the contents of the report, please do not hesitate to contact us for clarification. We strive to ensure that the report is comprehensive and understandable to facilitate informed decision-making.

**4. Complaints**

4.1 If you have any complaints, please contact us with details at your earliest convenience. We are committed to addressing your concerns promptly and finding a satisfactory resolution.

**5. Inconclusive Assessments**

5.1 There may be occasions where insufficient information is gathered during the assessment to make a conclusive decision.

5.2 In such cases, we may offer a reduced price assessment at a later date. Details will be provided with the report.

**6. Clarification of Report**

6.1 If you require clarification of the assessment report, you can email us to arrange a short meeting or phone call. We are dedicated to ensuring that you fully understand the contents of the report and its implications.

**7. Governing Law**

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

**8. Changes to Terms**

8.1 We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.
